A big thank you to Header Art for the great selection of free blog headers on their site! They will do additional custom work on any of the headers for only $10 if you’re interested.

To replace the default header on this blog with a custom one I simply:

• clicked on the headers I liked at Header Art to view them in full
• right-clicked to save them to my desktop
• followed the directions specific to the theme I’m using (Mandigo) at Custom Headers
  (I chose to upload header images to the images/headers/ subfolder and enable the “random headers” feature)

To resize the images, I used the free graphics editor IrfanView
