Article Marketing Service


Submitting short articles to free online article directories is one of the keys to success for online business.

A good article marketing service can boost that success manyfold. Here is why.

Many people, including the author of the guide I recommend, manually submit their articles. But most manual submitters can’t compete with a good article marketing service. Why?


A Good Article Marketing Service:

  • quickly submits your articles to reputable directories and also sites that are exclusive to their service – sites that you would not have access to otherwise
  • checks your articles (with human editors and software) to make sure they’re likely to be accepted
  • notifies you if changes are needed or if an article has been rejected
  • provides editing tools that make it easy to change your articles in various ways so different copies can be sent out, allowing you to use different keywords and links
  • stores and organizes your articles so you can track them easily on one site
  • provides tutorials on how to improve your writing and boost distribution

This is not done for free, but the price can be surprisingly reasonable when you consider the number of hours you would have to spend to do the same thing yourself, if you even could.

The service I signed up for ($39/month) is SYA

James Schramko uses and recommends it. If you haven’t heard of James Schramko yet you will soon. He’s a rising star in the marketing world.  He has tested various article marketing services and SYA is one that his business really benefits from.

SYA

  • is easy to use – I was worried it would take me a few days to be ready to submit my first article. No – the interface is so clearly laid out that I was up and ready to go within 30 minutes
  • is saving me a LOT of time (I was manually submitting before)
  • has a very good distribution network. They include Ezine.com if you like while most article marketing services do not. I don’t mind submitting manually to Ezine – I find it easy -  but it’s good to have the option all the same.
  • offers good options for how quickly your articles will be distributed. You can choose short or long time-frames. A long time-frame, say 30 days, is more ‘natural’ in the search engines so I usually go for that
  • makes it quick and simple to change elements of articles to create several versions. This allows me to target different keywords and means I won’t be dinged for duplicate content. I barely have to think when using this option because SYA extracts snippets of my articles for me so I can do simple rewrites of small sections at a time
  • is priced well ($39/month) – an economical place to start compared to most similar  services

A good article marketing service like SYA is well worth the money, in my opinion, if you’re interested in boosting traffic to your site, products and services. I wish I had signed up sooner!

  3. Yeah, as an SEO specialist I believe articles from sources like Ezine, eHow, Hubpages, Article base, etc, create some of the best values for traffic as well as link juice to sites.
