This blog is strongly focused on WordPress tools and techniques. WordPress is what I work with entirely too much – lol. I enjoy helping and hobnobbing with people who are setting up an online business, or want to yet don’t know where to start. There is always something new to learn but the bare basics aren’t hard to master.

Good research & design are important to me. Integrity too. Some of my favorite words: freedom, abundance, truth, imagination, craftsmanship.

A blend of idealistic and realistic, I spent most of my childhood drawing, writing, dancing and inventing quirky characters to use in games and stories.

I’ve been a big-time researcher of cooking, nutrition and fitness for most of my adult life. For 2+ years I did volunteer work for a non-profit organization devoted to helping people understand the benefits of traditional foods and farming methods. I met super people and was able to use my research and organizational skills to the max, sourcing hard-to-find foods. I am now a big fan and promoter of intermittent fasting, which I do regularly for weight maintenance and improved energy (amazing!). I eat a gluten free diet and recommend that highly too.

It’s important to me to only recommend/endorse products, services, etc that are really really good. My standards have impacted my life a lot. Many marketers and salespeople can be quite devious. I couldn’t take most sales type jobs in good conscience. I would feel ill selling people things that are utter garbage.

When I find good products, I love to tell others about them. I also get great tips and advice from a few of the top marketers out there – the ones with integrity.

Moving out of the city to a quiet, friendly small community has been one of my deepest wishes. Now here I am on a lovely smallish island in Canada with a mild climate and world-famous scenery. I love working at home online, and I’m a natural night owl, which makes a good pairing. No need for 9-5. Instead, I can easily do the reverse: 9PM to 5AM if I choose.

In closing I want to say that despite the bad rap marketers get, there are ‘good’ online marketers out there. Yes, people with integrity who create quality products and truly want to help others have a successful online business. So, here’s to the number of good marketers increasing and the ones on the ‘dark side’ … okay, I’ll hold back and let your imagination fill in the blank.
