To manage my online business and personal e-mail when traveling, I learned everything I could about the two best options: iPhone and iPod Touch.
I asked members of the internet marketing coaching forum I belong to and online business people like Jonathan Lane for advice.
Responses have been very informative.
For example, Jonathan Lane and James Schramko helped me determine that an iPod Touch is more suitable for my needs because I’m not interested in the cell phone feature of iPhone at this time. That saved me money.
Also, thanks to the responses, I downloaded a nice collection of apps that I’m very happy with.

My husband uses and loves the wordpress app!
In my opinion, the New York Times application is the absolute best one!
Thanks iPod guy, and keep baby socks on. I hope others will chime in with their favorites. It’s a great way to learn about
what might be worth trying.
Now, this is really handy! With all of these apps, there’s no more need for me to carry my netbook around as I can already do them all with my iPhone. Thanks!
You’re welcome Net Millionaire. It can make traveling locally and internationally easier and lighter.
If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
Great advice Carroll. I am happy that I bought an iPod. I’d do it again.
